Angus Support Service

REALISE is an Angus Council approved provider for Self-Directed Support Option 2.

REALISE Support and Learning Services was born from a disillusionment with the same old services, providing the same old support; commonly referred to as a maintenance model.

We thought we could do things differently, so we did and created REALISE.

We truly believe that things can be different and individuals accessing services should have choice and control of their lives and be supported to achieve their goals, dreams and aspirations.  Our services focus on what can be done.

The core staff team at REALISE has worked in the health and social care sector for many years, in lots of different services, with lots of different people.

We aim to provide support services that meet the needs of the individuals accessing services, including:

  • the support you want
  • support at a time and place that suits you
  • support to achieve what you want to achieve
  • support to continue to live at home
  • support to access activities
  • support to 'move on' in your life
  • opportunities to achieve SQA units in Personal Development
  • oppoortunities to look at voluntary/employment opportunities with support
